For aggregate production within Briman Quarry we currently have state of the art Metso and Sandvik computerized/automated fixed and mobile crushing plants consisting of three stages crushing – primary, secondary and tertiary. These three stages, combined with the final fourth stage of shaping with a vertical shaft impactor (VSI), enables Dar Al Manajim to operate with high environmental standards whilst producing 6,000 tonne per day of 0-5mm, 10mm, 14mm, 20mm & 25mm aggregates that easily meets and exceeds both British and American quality standards thus achieving both our customers’ requirements and the core values of Dar Al Manajim.
An example of our commitment to those values, following requests from our customers, is a significant additional investment in both an aggregate base course production plant and a wet mix blending plant at Briman Quarry allowing the manufacture of aggregates base courses both wet and dry to the exact specification requirement of our customers.
All investments made by Dar Al Manajim are purchased new in order to ensure a consistent performance from the operation, delivering on our values at all times. The overall investment in crushing capability in Briman Quarry is in excess of SAR 100m, an investment made with confidence from the Rashed Al Rashed group in delivering our vision and values to our customers and stakeholders.
Equipment Employed: Basalt Material
- 900 tones per hour Static Metso Primary Crushing Plant consisting of:-
- Metso C145 Primary Jaw Crusher c/w hydraulic hammer fed via dump hopper and grizzly feeder.
- Metso CVB Primary Screen producing any one of three ABC sizes (37.5mm, 45mm & 50mm) and a Filter Material of size 350-50mm.
- The above plant has 3 bag filter dust extraction units attached to minimize dust emissions.
- 500 tones per hour Static Metso Aggregate Crushing Plant consisting of:-
- Metso GP500 Secondary Cone Crusher.
- Metso TS4 Secondary Screen.
- Two Metso HP4 Tertiary Cone Crushers
- Metso TS4 Tertiary Screen.
- Barmac Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher for shaping aggregate.
- Two TS3 Quaternary Screens which produce final single sizes 25mm, 20mm, 14mm, 10mm with facility to produce any two crushed sand sizes e.g. 5-0mm & 3-0mm, all to ASTM or BS Specifications.
- The above plant has 9 bag filter dust extraction units attached to minimize dust emissions.
- 180 tones per hour Aggregate Plant consisting of:-
- Metso LT106 Locotrac Mobile Primary Jaw Crusher.
- Metso Static Aggregate Plant complete with two horizontal shaft impactor crushers.
- The above plant has 2 bag filter dust extraction units attached to minimize dust emissions.

- Sandvik UJ440i (1208) Mobile Primary Jaw Crusher (c/w attached dust extraction filter unit).
- Sandvik UH440i (4000) Mobile Primary Cone Crusher (c/w attached dust extraction filter unit) in closed circuit crushing system c/w single deck Hanging Screen.

180 tones per hour Mobile Sandvik Aggregate Crushing Plant consisting of:-
- Sandvik Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (c/w attached dust extraction filter unit) in closed circuit crushing system c/w triple deck screen.
- Pilotcrushtech Twister Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher.
- Finlay triple deck screen.
- Fintec double deck screen.
- The above plants (3 & 4) have the ability to produce final single sizes 40mm, 25mm, 20mm, 14mm, 10mm and 5-0mm crushed sand all to either ASTM or BS Specifications.

100 tones per hour Semi Mobile Aggregate Road Base/Base Course Crushing Plant consisting of:-
- Kobelco 3042 Semi Mobile Primary Jaw Crusher.
- El Jay 45” Semi Mobile Cone Crusher in closed circuit crushing system c/w triple deck screen and stacking conveyor having the ability to produce all sizes of Road Base, Sub Base and Aggregate Base Courses.
